Latest News - SA regulations for travelling with children

2018/06/21

In June 2015 new immigration laws for South Africa came into effect. There were great concern about the growing issue of child trafficking, and so new requirements for adults traveling with children were set out.

The department stated that these amendments would be in the best interest of South Africa’s security and would allow for efficient management of migration.

This applies to anyone entering and departing from SA with children under the age of 18 years, and all necessary documentation must be carried with you.
